Colne Valley Riding Club was started in 2001 in the Essex/Suffolk border areas to form a group which would actively encourage and develop the “grass roots” rider as well as those who are more competitive. The club provides a place for those everyday riders to get together and have fun with their horses in a supportive, friendly atmosphere. We are part of a group of riding clubs in Area 14.

We are a seniors only club which is for over 18 years only and we do not provide events for juniors.

Colne Valley Riding Club Ltd is affiliated to the British Horse Society, British Riding Clubs
organisation. The riding club sits under the rules and regulations of the BRC and its insurance.
Members can be assured that whatever activity they are involved with in CVRC, be they competitive, training, or social activities, it will be professional, trained and fully covered. The club requires that all riders also have their own insurance in place when participating in club events.
